Trad agus Tine is an immersive outdoor cultural celebration combining traditional Irish music, bilingual conversation, and the ancient practice of gathering around fire.
Cruinniú na nÓg is Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people, delivered by Creative Ireland in partnership with local authorities. It is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme, inviting every child and young person to participate in a free, inspiring creative experience on one day each year.

Cruinniú na nÓg is ‘a lively showcase for local young talent in music, dance, that ‘fosters creativity and self-expression, offering a vibrant stage and inspiring atmosphere for a youth-focused audience.’ Trad Tine’s Cruinniú na nÓg event is designed to fulfil precisely this ambition within the rich traditional arts heritage of County Sligo.
