EOLI with NWH invite you to join us to remember especially those in Ireland, all who advocated for legislation for Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) that sadly they did not live to see.

Marie Fleming, Vicky Phelan and Gaynor French, Brendan Clarke all supported the right to die with dignity, here in Ireland at a time of their choosing. Living with a terminal or incurable and life limited illness takes courage. As does facing death itself, for the dying person and those close to them.

World Right to Die Day is when advocates for assisted dying united in heart gather in local communities around the world to remember the selfless endeavours of those who have gone before.

Join us on November 9th as we honour the courage of all impacted by the absence of legislation for VAD. Some who take matters into their own hands. Some of whom travel abroad all too often alone, for an assisted death to protect their loved ones who would risk imprisonment for supporting them and who have to cope with the trauma of repressed grief.
